The Crew Chronicles
We’re amped up for you to meet a saucy member of the crew…

What project at UOTB has had the biggest impact on you?
There’s multiple projects that have had an impact on me but not as many as I’ve had an impact on. I’ve created a lot of interactive PDFs and used html conversion for digital ads, web parts and interactive flipbooks for our clients. The earliest work I had was all in html which pushed my knowledge of coding. Recent digital ad work is pushing my skills even more to stay relevant and be able to track analytics. Web work of any assignment has had an important impact on my skills and ability to consume spaghetti.
What was the most memorable client feedback you’ve ever received on a project?
Well, that’s like asking to pick a single star out of the sky. I’d say the initial feedback I received on a logo a while back was very memorable. It was a simple ask, but by the time I presented concepts, the client’s excitement about its possibilities for use across all the company’s divisions was unforgettable. I’ve learned from that experience to always find an opportunity for creativity, no matter what the ask. And that you can never have too many jars of spaghetti sauce in your fridge.
What keeps you coming back to the beach?
I like the opportunities I have here for creative and technical problem solving. We also have a pretty great team.
What do you like to do when you’re NOT hanging out under the umbrella?
I like the cool breeze on my knees while listening to Alicia Keys. I dabble in musical instruments. I make creative cocktails with booze I pay way too much for. I like to design and create cool furniture that I can eat spaghetti on. I like to recommend movies or TV shows to my friends who will never watch any of them. Occasionally, I read sci-fi books about society’s ultimate demise. I like to do a lot of fun stuff.
Do you buy your spaghetti sauce or do you make it yourself? If so, why haven’t you shared this recipe with any of us?
Wouldn’t you like to know…
